Sculpting My Kingdom

When I initially embarked on the journey to look how I wanted I thought it would be easy. Growing up I always had a pretty fast metabolism but once I hit around 22 years old something changed. Now working at two fast-food jobs at the same time of going to college with 4 college roommates might have had a hand in that change. We were pretty much Little Caesars advocates with their boxes tattooed across the counters, desks and trash can. Perks of being broke in suburbia tryna make it on my own.

So fast-forward two years and 15 pounds heavier I was still skinny but had a ”Dad Bod”. Which in my mind made zero sense because I always worked out every day religiously. It wasn’t until I seriously reevaluated my diet that things started to shift.

As you all can see it was a slow process and some days felt like Hell because of the mood swings. My mentor joked during that time and said sugar and cocaine are what color? So once I got over the initial fatigue and pain of letting pizza and my favorite ice cream I shifted. I stopped working out hard just to see how much I could really change. Then I looked in the mirror and was like ”oh shoot no more belly?!”

I say all of this to say it’s a journey and process to become your best self. Don’t take any shortcuts and when you do fall make sure to really feel it so you’ll be more careful next time. You can do it and who knows you might just inspire some people along the journey. Much love
